Largest Dino Fossil Ever Found in Argentina

A groundbreaking discovery was made at the beginning of this year. Paleontologists working in Patagonia, Argentina, recently found what potentially could be the largest creature that has ever lived. It was a 98 million year old dinosaur called a Titanosaur. Although the entire skeleton was not found, paleontologists measured it to be around 124 feet long. Many more trips are being planned to go recover the entire beast. It was estimated to live at around the same time as other smaller and weaker dinosaurs of the same species. This was a very interesting finding, and probably explained the different niches that caused the end the cretaceous period.
