There are many various types of organizations that are held at Rio Mesa. Clubs

are great for anybody because they give you experience and knowledge about any subject

you are passionate about, whether it’s for community service, learning the ukulele, or

even acting. You may or may not know this, but there are so many things that are

happening in clubs, lately. “Every Thursday in Asian Club, you learn about cultural

games, different languages, and different races”, said Yuliana Tapia, a freshman club

member. Presently, they have about eighty members in the club. 17-year- old Asian Club

President. Another exclusive club is Knowledge Bowl Club. They meet every Friday in

room T2, and have approximately 20 people. 14-year- old freshman Samuel Simons, said

his favorite thing in the organization was how it helped him expand his knowledge and

widen his scope more. They are currently practicing for the Knowledge Bowl

Tournament.
